"United we stand, divided we fall" is a phrase used in many different mottos, most often to inspire unity. Its core concept lies in the notion that if individuals of a group work on their own instead of as a team, they are each doomed to fail and will all be defeated but by uniting and working together victory, although not assured, is more likely.
The 2024 election is probably the most critical election of our lifetime and may very well mean the difference between the survival or failure of our Constitutional Republic as framed by our Founding Fathers. There has never been a more appropriate time to take to heart the phrase "United we stand, divided we fall." As a Party, the Haywood County Republican Party must all come together and do our part by standing united in our determination to help save the United States as envisioned by our Founding Fathers.
Whatever your opinions are regarding politicians, Washington elitists, or politics in general, it is time to set those opinions aside for the greater good of our Republic. It is time for all Republicans and Conservatives, not only in Haywood County but nationally, to finally stand together united in one goal and one goal only: To assure that Republican Party nominees, from the President down, win this coming November. If we Republicans and Conservatives approach this historical election divided and unwilling to work together, our Constitutional Republic, as framed by our Founding Fathers, will surely fall.
Now more than ever, it is time for each one of us to become engaged and involved in working to assure that we will be victorious this coming November. Please take to heart what President John F. Kennedy famously stated: “ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.” With a good conscience our only sure reward and history the final judge of our actions, we must unite our party and the land we love and if it be God's will we shall prevail.
