CHAIR ELECTIONS & BOARD OF ELECTIONS APPLICATIONS

On Thursday, April 3rd, Rick Stello resigned as Chair of the Haywood County Republican Party. Effective that date, LeRoy (Le) Cossette, the Vice Chair, assumed the role of Acting Chair until an election to fill that position is held on May 1st, 2025, at a Special Call Meeting.

Voting to fill this vacancy will be restricted to Executive Committee members in attendance.

Anyone interested in serving in this position is invited to advise a member of the Executive Committee to present their name as a candidate or to announce their candidacy on the day of elections.

The Haywood County Executive Committee will hold a special meeting on Thursday, April 17, 2025, to evaluate applications for membership in the Haywood County Board of Election Committee.

There are two seats on that committee to be filled by Haywood County Registered

Republicans.
