Parents and Grandparents of school-aged children attending Haywood County Public Schools need to take notice of Democrat State Superintendent Maurice “Mo” Green’s scheduled visit to Haywood County on March 17.
The superintendent of NC Department of Public Instruction is hosting what he is referring to as a listening and learning session with community parents, students, educators, school and district staff to discuss concerns with our NC public school system.
Keep in mind that the Superintendent is a Democrat and they are not very good at listening and learning as they have yet to let go of their DEI, CRT, and sexual identity ideologies in our institutions despite President Trump's Executive Order banning the teaching of such ideologies in our public schools. Instead, we are learning that the Democrats are attempting to skirt the mandate by rebranding or renaming positions which pushed these ideologies.
It would be prudent for all parents of school-age children to attend Mr. Green's session and take that opportunity to question his position regarding teaching such ideologies in NC public schools.
If conservative Christian parents do not make it clear, at every possible opportunity, that we are watching and listening and ready to challenge state school superintendents' position regarding President Trump's mandate, it will not be long before they once again return to destroying our children's minds.
The Superintendent will hold his meeting at Tuscola High School at 6:00 PM on March 17th. Mark your calendars and try to be there.
